Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our forest school program
Program Basics
Forest school is a child-centered educational approach that takes place in natural outdoor environments. Children engage in hands-on learning through exploration, play, and discovery in nature, developing confidence, independence, and a deep connection to the natural world.
Our program welcomes children ages 4 and up, with the belief that mixed-age groups offer rich opportunities for learning and growth. Older children develop leadership and empathy, while younger ones bring creativity, curiosity, and fresh perspective. Together, they create a dynamic environment where diverse developmental stages and interests are supported through collaboration and play.
Our Friday program runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, giving children a full day of outdoor exploration and learning while fitting into family schedules.
